As the first weekend nears in start of 2015 Hobart
Hurricane travel back to their home to host Brisbane Heats.Having lost
their last match by eight wickets in front of record home support in
adelaide oval for Strikers host will be hoping to pull things back in
bellerive.
Both team are having just one win and have to take 2 crucial points
here if they want to stay alive for race to top four team in the league.
They have been struggling to get big scores with bat and need to show
some fire bombs with bat in a good sunny day with 27c• temperature which
is expected at bellerive Hobart tomorrow.
Moving on to players big news is that Ben Hilfenhaus has been dropped
from the Hobart side to take on Heats. The Pacer has not looked good in
early matches and fast bowler Jake Reed has replaced him.He is likely to
make his debut in bellerive on Friday.
For Heats Peter Forest is back to take Hurricanes. The batsman had missed
first two matches of heats due to hamstring injury.Fast bowler Mark
Stekeete is dropped for him.
For Hosts Hurricanes top order has struggled with bat but Jonathan Wells
has looked in great touch so far and skipper George Bailey need to
support him.
Heats are having dangerous Chris Lynn at top and ben cutting coming
lower down the order. Veteran Andrew Flintoff has shown great desperation to perform in early matches and was one of stand out former
for them so far.
At the end victory is the only thing that can make things back on track
and with better batting line up at good batting conditions in a hot
sunny day Hobart are more likely to get points here infornt of home
crowd.
Prediction - Hobart Hurricanes to win!!
