After an average opening Action Jackson could not improve much over the weekend. Though the weekday business remain steady, thanks to single screens business the first week collection came at 45 crore which is a poor result for a film with a landing cost around 90 crore.
The plus for the film was that, it didn't have to face any competition on this weekend. But where could you go when there is no appreciation for your movie? The film dropped around 80 percent from its opening day earning just 2 crore in its 2nd Friday. It might be worse if there was any major release on this Friday. the multiplex business that was already poor, came down badly since there was a huge reduction in screen count.
The film probably will earn around 7.5 to 8 crore nett in its second weekend and even touching the lifetime business of R...Rajkumar looks tough.
