PK earns 53.25 crore nett. in its scond weekend which is a new all time record, breaking the previous one held by Aamir khan's own Dhoom3 which collected 37 crore on the same weekend last year. The film's 41 percent second weekend drop is also a new highpoint for Bollywood, since apart from 3 Idiots no other big grosser has shown such phenomenal trend. the second weekend's daily figures are :
Friday - 14,25,00,000 crore
Saturday - 17,00,00,000 crore
Sunday - 22, 25,00,000 crore
Adding it with the 181 crore first week figure, PK has already earned 234 crore, which easily makes it the highest grosser of 2014 beating Salman Khan's Kick. The way the film is trending it could pass the lifetime of Dhoom 3 even before its second weekend is finished. Pk is almost confirmed to be the first Bollywood film to touch 300 crore nett figure.
