On Tuesday when Melbourne Renegades will host Sydney
Thunder it will be exciting to see that who will get things back on
track in the clash between the two sides who are struggling in the early
of part of this edition of KFC Big Bash League.Both team will be hoping
to get crucial points here by winning that can keep alive them in
tournament for race of top four spots.
Good news for hosts Renegades is that James Pattinson is declared fit
to play on Tuesday and surely will be in playing XI.He can form a good
pair with Peter Siddle to trouble Thunders.In batting Skipper Aaron
Finch need to score big from top order to lay platform to his dangerous
carribean pair Dwayne Bravo and Andre Russel in middle order which he
cant to in earlier matches.Russel was lone fighter in the last match
loss of hosts and they will want him to carry on his big hitting in
final overs with a good result.
Thunders had lost their last match as convincely as they won their
opening match.Aiden Blizzard blasting 80 runs were also not enough to
give them points.So responsibility will be again on Hussey and Kallis to
give a good strong start to struggling Thunders batting.Eoin Morgan
needs to spend some time in crease with blizzard and all rounder
McDonald.
New signing for Thunder Jayson Roy will not play tuesday game.
In bowling,experienced Dirk Nannes needs to give early breakthrough and
Sandhu slower balls bowling will be crucial in death overs.
Coming to predicting outcome was not so easy till now for anybody in the
league.In a yet another upset today Perth Scorchers have successfully
defended a low total and has given Sydney Sixers their first defeat of
the league.So it looks Renegades should also not not take lightly
thunders though everyone see them as the team to win against easily.
Overall hosts Renegades look a better side but thunder will be knowing
that the tournament has began and they need to just play well to upset
another pre-match favorite .
