Adelaide Strikers continuing there unbeaten run in fourth edition of Big Bash League. After the failure of top order it was looking like middle order will fall also in absence of Brad Hodge but Young Travis Birt with brilliant 57 came to rescue them against heat and they now have four wins from four games. Perth Sorchers on the other hand will be looking to take revenge from Strikers of their close lost game to them earlier in the tournament.Adam Zampha Last over big six to Yasir Arafat had given Perth one wicket loss to them with 2 balls remaining . Interstingly both team had different approach so far in the tournament.Strikers have liked to chase in all the games so far and their combo of In-form openers Ludeman and Simmons have looked good. While bowlers like Shaun tait enjoying terrific spell.
While Perth likes to defend the targets with whatever vulnerable score they get from their weak batting order.Arafat has been their death over specialist while Pacer Behendroff is being excellent for scorchers with new ball. While batsman were not good regularly but occasionally they have rescued them. Perth opner Michael Klinger Has only century of this league so far.
Team News - For Hosts Strikers Pollard has gone for international duties for his carribean team and T20 Specialist Ryan Ten Doeschate will replace him. While Shaun Tait will return to the squad after given rest in last match against Heats. Perth has able to sign veteran Chinaman Spinner Bradd Hogg in the side and Cameron Bancroft also makes his place.
Overall it looks quite a close call and toss will be crucial and if Perth can win the toss they can surely give some tight fight but otherwise perth have weakness in batting and Strikers also look struggling with bat sometime. So watchout if Perth bat first they can defend almost anything but as things going Strikers ways we would like to give them a edge.
Prediction - Adelaide Strikers to win
