Now it's already a trend, one new weekend and some
new records in its kitty. Pk continues it's record breaking run with a
third weekend gross of 27.50 crore which is once again the highest
third weekend gross ever. The previous record was held by 3 Idiots from
the same Aamir khan-Rajkumar Hirani duo. Considering very few films
could imagine a close to 30 crore opening weekend, Pk doing it in its
third weekend simply proves that it's a real phenomenon. The daily
figures are as follows :
Friday - 6,50,00,000
Saturday- 8,50,00,000
Sunday - 12,50,00,000
Look at the Sunday business and any one can
see the huge jump it got on that day, which proves that the film is
doing very well with the family audiences. For the lifetime business,
expect the film to cross the 350 crore nett! Since no films even come
close to touching the 300 crore mark, expect this record to remain at
least for the next three years.
