As we predicted Melbourne Stars came on winning way by a record 112 runs victory over Renegades side on Saturday. Now the next challenge before them will be hosting Sydney Sixers in Melbourne Cricket Ground on Monday.Sixers are having a decent start so far winning three and loosing one from their four games so far.Riki Wessels is looked in great form for them. They have reliable pair of openers at top of Michael Lumb and Nic Madinson.Skipper Henquires is reliable at middle order and handy with the ball.

Brett Lee will also be looking to remove Stars top order early. For Hosts Stars Wright and Skipper White built good opening partnership as we expected here against renegades and bowlers performed really well to restrict opposition to lowest total ever. The trio of Bird,Beer and Boland again have to step up at MCG.

Team news - Stars have couple of injury concerns.David Hussey was struck on the left wrist while playing on Saturday and his availability is expected to clear just before toss.Hosts are already missing in-form batsman Rob Quiney who also missed last game due to groin injury.

Sixers have got new player in the squad for this edition.Stephen O'Keefee is listed in final 14-man Sixers squad to play at MCG.He will replace Luke Doran.Ben Dwarshuis also returns in the squad.

Sixers are having weak middle order and they will need some big inning from top order to rescue them so that bowling lead by Lee have something to play. Stars have got momentum started with them. They will be boosted by last match performance and even if Hussey not plays one good performance from their star studded line should be enough to get points.

Prediction- Melbourne Stars to win !!
