Ajay Devgan's keenly anticipated Action Jackson is releasing on next Friday, so there's no hope of holding well on the second or further weekends.
Zid was released in around 1000 theaters and had quiet some buzz and controversy and most importantly a hit song on its credit. These things really helped the film to attract some audience on the opening day But failed to keep the momentum. It was able to open even higher than Ungli, still earned just 1.10 crore on the opening day. Considering its minimal budget it still had chance but unfortunately it droped on Saturday to 1.05 crore and Sunday business came around 1.20 crore mark totaling 3.35 crore on its first three days. A better word of mouth will definitely push the film on the positive side and since that doesn't happen it's a poor fare.
There was no happy news for last weekend's Happy Ending. The mega disaster film drops an unbelievable 90% on its second weekend to earn just 1.05 crore. Total stands at 21 crore and there's virtually no chance of crossing 23 crore nett.

directed film starring Emran Hashmi, Kangna Ranaut and Sanjay Dutt took a
poor start and continue to struggle through the weekend with a very
minimul jump. It earned just 12.35 crore nett which is poorer than last
weekend's disaster Happy Ending and last Emraan Hashmi starrer 'Raja Natarwal' both of which earned around 14 crore. the daily figures are
